The Spiral: A Women's SomaticHealing Community in Sacramento
The Spiral is a private somatic group for women in Sacramento — a trauma-informed container for embodied healing, sacred sisterhood, and the kind of community so many of us are longing for.
Who is This Group For?
The Spiral is a private, intentionally curated group for women who are ready to do their own work — in the presence of other women doing theirs.
This group is designed for women who carry experiences such as:
adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)
emotional neglect or inconsistent caregiving
generational or systemic trauma
painful experiences in female friendships or family relationships
a deep longing for authentic feminine community
Many women have spent years trying to heal these wounds alone — through books, therapy, or personal development. And while those paths can be powerful, healing relational trauma often requires a relational container. The Spiral is grounded in the idea of sacred sisterhood — not as a spiritual ideal or forced positivity, but as a real, embodied practice of community.
A place where women can:
Be witnessed in their truth
Hear themselves reflected in another woman's story
Navigate differences and emotions with care
Stay present with discomfort rather than abandoning themselves or each other
Practice working through conflict in real time, rather than going underground or going away
In this space, healing doesn't come from fixing yourself.
It comes from being supported while you learn new ways of being in relationship — with yourself, with your body, and with other women.
Why "The Spiral"?
The healing journey is not linear.
We move through the spiral again and again — meeting old imprints, wounds, and experiences with new understanding each time around. What once felt impossible to be with becomes workable. What we couldn't feel before begins to move. The spiral honors that this work is rhythmic, deepening, and ongoing.
When women gather with this understanding, something shifts. The patterns that have run through generations of female relationships — heartbreak, envy, betrayal, projected pain — begin to be met and metabolized. The ripple moves outward: into our relationships, our families, our communities, and our children's children.
This is the medicine of our time, and it's the medicine this group is committed to.
Why Join a Women’s Group?
Healing does not happen in isolation.
Many of the wounds we carry — especially those rooted in early childhood, family systems, and our relationships with other women — were formed in relationships. Because of this, real healing often requires something many of us have never truly experienced before: a safe, regulated relational environment where new patterns can emerge.
Research in trauma recovery and attachment science consistently shows that healing happens through safe connection, not through insight alone. We can understand our patterns intellectually for years — and still find ourselves repeating them in our relationships.
Group work offers something different.
It creates a living, relational space where you can begin to:
Notice the patterns that formed in early attachment relationships
Experience being seen and supported by other women
Practice new ways of communicating, setting boundaries, and staying present
Repair wounds formed in sisterhood, friendship, and family dynamics
What's Included in Your Membership
The Spiral is a membership-based container with a 4-month minimum commitment. This length honors the depth of the work — relational healing requires time, continuity, and the kind of trust that can only be built over months in the same circle.
Each month, your membership includes:
One 2-hour group somatic session The heart of the membership. Held in person at our private space in East Sacramento, the group gathers for embodied work together — guided facilitation woven with organic group process.
Monday–Friday support via the Homecoming app Ongoing support between sessions through the Homecoming app — a private, secure way to stay connected to your process and to me as your facilitator throughout the week.
Community Connection Hours On designated days each month, our space at Friends Meeting is open for members to use as a third space — to journal, rest, meditate, work, sit in the gardens, or meet up with other members of The Spiral. A reprieve from busy homes, full schedules, and the noise of the world.
Founding Member Investment
$80 / month — Founding Member Rate
The first cohort of The Spiral is being held at the founding member rate. Future cohorts will be priced at $100–150/month. Founding members keep their rate as long as they remain in continuous membership.
If you feel called to this group and the timing isn't quite right, please reach out. We can talk about it.
The Entry Point: Somatic Assessment & Care Planning Session
Every woman who joins The Spiral begins with a Somatic Assessment & Care Planning Session — a 75-minute virtual session, $125.
This is non-negotiable, and it's not about gate-keeping. It's about intentionality. The Spiral is a container that asks something of every woman in it, and beginning with a one-on-one session, allows us to:
Connect directly before you enter the circle
Understand what you're carrying and what you're moving toward
Map how I can best support you individually within the group
Make sure this container is the right fit for you right now
Even if The Spiral isn't ultimately the right fit, you'll leave the assessment with a clearer understanding of what your body is holding, what's possible for you, and what the right next step is — whether that's with me or somewhere else.
What You Can Expect
Sessions take place in a quiet, private space inside a beautiful Quaker church in East Sacramento, surrounded by gardens that greet you as you arrive. Many women notice a shift the moment they step onto the grounds — the pace slows, the nervous system softens, and the environment invites you to arrive more fully in your body.
This is not a busy clinical office. The space is intentionally rented just for our group, which means no interruptions, no shared waiting rooms, and complete privacy. The space is quiet, grounded, and supportive of the deeper emotional work we will be doing together.
Thoughtful Onboarding
Each member is welcomed into The Spiral through a process similar to my 1:1 clients to ensure the container feels safe and well held.
This includes:
The Somatic Assessment & Care Planning Session
Trauma-informed orientation and psychoeducation
Clear group agreements and confidentiality guidelines
Ongoing attention to both individual and collective needs within the group
How The Sessions Unfold
Each session is shaped by a balance of guided facilitation and organic group process.
The work is informed by:
The intentions and goals each woman brings
The experiences and insights shared within the circle
The relational dynamics that naturally arise when women gather in an honest space
Often, one woman's story or question resonates deeply with others. In those moments, something powerful happens. Women begin to see their experiences reflected through one another — creating insight, validation, and a sense of shared humanity that is difficult to access in individual work alone.
Many women describe one of the most healing realizations as this simple truth:
"It's not just me."
Please note:
You will never be forced to share before you are ready. Participation unfolds naturally as trust develops.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The Spiral currently meets on the second Friday of each month, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. As the group grows, I'd love to add a weekday option as well — so if Friday evenings aren't ideal for you, please mention that during your Somatic Assessment so I can keep your preferences in mind as new cohorts open.

You’re in the right place.
Many women who come to me have little or no experience with somatics. You don’t need to know anything ahead of time. We’ll start slow, gentle, and grounded — meeting your body exactly where it is. As trust and safety build in your system, we’ll work our way into deeper layers of exploration and healing at a pace that’s just right for you. -
The Spiral meets once per month for a 2-hour group session, with ongoing support between sessions through the Homecoming app, Monday through Friday. The 4-month minimum commitment ensures the depth and continuity this work requires.
-
Each session is tailored to your needs, but you can expect a quiet, peaceful space to connect with your breath, body, and deeper truth. Sessions may include somatic inquiry, trauma-informed breathwork, nervous system regulation tools, creative visualization, or gentle guided movement — always with full consent and collaboration.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe with ease — think yoga pants or relaxed layers. You don’t need to bring anything, but you’re welcome to bring a journal, a water bottle, or any comfort items (a shawl, a stone, or an essential oil) that help you feel grounded. A mat, a blanket, and a pillow are all provided for the session.

Sessions are held in East Sacramento at a serene Quaker church. The space is quiet, private, and reserved just for your session — no waiting rooms, no distractions. You’ll be welcomed by a beautiful garden upon arrival and held in a space that feels sacred, soft, and safe.

This group is designed for women, with a focus on experiences commonly shaped by female biology, socialization, and relational conditioning—including early attachment dynamics, caregiving roles, and relationships with mothers, sisters, and other women. That said, this space is not rigidly limited by identity labels.
If you:
Identify as non-binary or gender-expansive
Or fall outside traditional gender categories
…and you feel deeply aligned with this work, the themes being explored, and the invitation to connect with feminine energy, you are welcome here.
-
That uncertainty is welcome.
If you’re unsure how your identity or experience fits within this container, I strongly encourage scheduling a Somatic Assessment and Care Planning Session. We can explore together whether this group feels supportive of you—or whether another offering might better meet your needs.
This work is about safety, resonance, and relational integrity, not forcing yourself into a space that doesn’t feel right.

Homecoming is a private, secure messaging app that allows us to stay connected between group sessions. Throughout the work week (Monday through Friday), you can share reflections, ask questions, or reach out when something is moving in your process — and I'll respond within 24 hours. Weekends are protected rest time for both of us. The app is designed for ongoing support and integration, not crisis care; if you're ever in crisis, I'll always make sure you have appropriate resources and referrals.
