Our introductory package for women. Eight weeks, virtual and in-person in Sacramento.
Who This Is For
✅ You've heard about somatic breathwork and you're ready to try it for yourself, not just read about it
✅ You want to understand your body: how your nervous system and your menstrual cycle shape your energy, moods, and needs
✅ You're in a changing season of life and want more tools and education to care for yourself through it
✅ You want to feel more connected to your body, and you're curious where that could lead
✅ You have the time and energy to engage between sessions with recorded lessons and home play practices. Eight weeks is a short window for work this deep, and what you bring between sessions shapes what you take away
Who This Isn’t For
❌ You're in crisis right now. You deserve immediate, dedicated support, and this offer isn't built to hold that
❌ You're looking for a quick fix. Somatic work unfolds over time, and Sense is a starting point, not a finish line
❌You want something deeply personalized to one specific issue. Sense follows a set path, with room to choose your own focus for one session. If you want a container built around you, Stabilize and Synchronize are designed for that
Why Sense?
You can read about somatic work, listen to podcasts about it, even try a few somatic exercises you found on TikTok. All of that can spark something. But somatic work can't be fully understood with the mind. At some point, it has to be felt.
That's the heart of somatics: your body learns through experience, not explanation. Your nervous system has to feel safe before it can soften, open, and show you what it's been holding. That kind of safety is built slowly, with support, in a relationship.
Sense is where that begins. Over eight weeks, you'll move from understanding somatic work in theory to knowing it in your body. You'll experience resourcing, an archetype journey through one phase of your menstrual cycle, and a full somatic breathwork session, each one building on the last.
You'll learn a lot in a short time. Sense isn't about going to your earliest memories or deepest layers yet. It's about building the foundation of safety and body awareness that makes deeper work possible.
You arrive curious, maybe with a head full of what you've read. You leave with a felt sense of what this work is, which practices truly support you, and where you want to go next.
Why Somatic Breathwork?
Breath is one of the most direct ways to speak to your nervous system. Somatic breathwork uses intentional, active breathing to reach what the body is holding: old patterns, stored feelings, and the weight that talking alone hasn't touched. Rather than thinking your way through, you let your body show you what's there.
In Sense, you'll have one full somatic breathwork session, in person in East Sacramento.
What one session can offer
A felt experience of how your body responds to breathwork
Space for emotion to move, whether that's release, softening, or something unexpected
A clearer sense of whether this practice is one you want to keep exploring
What a regular practice builds over time
A more regulated nervous system and a steadier baseline
Greater capacity for stress, including improved heart rate variability (HRV), a measurable sign of your body's resilience
Deeper self-awareness and trust in your body's signals
These longer-term changes come from practicing consistently, so one session won't give you all of them. What it will give you is a real sense of what's possible.
Your breathwork session comes third, after two sessions of building safety and getting to know each other. By then you'll be resourced and we'll have a foundation of trust. That lets you go deeper than you might in a first meeting, with one clear intention guiding the session. You're never asked to go anywhere your system isn't ready to go.
If breathwork is what calls you most, Stabilize is where it becomes a regular practice.
Why Somatics and Your Cycle
Your nervous system and your menstrual cycle are in constant conversation. Across the month, your hormones shift how much energy you have, how much stress you can hold, how deeply you feel, and what your body needs to feel safe. Most of us were never taught this, so we push through the same way every week and wonder why some weeks feel so much harder.
Menstrual cycle awareness gives you the map. Somatic work helps you feel where you are on it. Together, you start to see your patterns clearly: why certain days bring more anxiety or rage, when you have room to stretch, and when your body is asking you to slow down.
In Sense, you'll track about two cycles alongside your sessions, so you can compare them and notice what shifts. It's a simple practice that often brings some of the biggest insights, and it gives you a way to care for yourself that keeps working after our eight weeks end.
If cycle awareness is what lights you up, Synchronize is where it goes deeper.
Our Pillars
Pillar One: Safety
Session 1, Virtual
Everything begins with safety. Before your body can open to anything new, your nervous system needs to know it has somewhere steady to land.
In our first session, we'll explore resourcing: what helps your body feel grounded and supported, both inside you and in your life. Together we'll find a resource practice that becomes your anchor, a place your nervous system can return to whenever things start to feel like too much. You'll also be introduced to your menstrual cycle and nervous system, and begin tracking your cycle.
With safety in place, we move into connection with your body, your cycle, and the parts of you that are ready to be felt.
In session two, you'll take an imaginative journey with the archetype of the cycle phase you choose, followed by art making to bring what surfaced into form. No art experience needed.
In session three, you'll experience a full somatic breathwork session in person. Resourced and supported by the foundation we've built, you'll come into it with one clear intention and room to go deep.
Pillar Two: Connection
Session 2, virtual · Session 3, in person in East Sacramento
Session 4, virtual
This is where your experience becomes something you can carry forward. We'll look at your two tracked cycles side by side and reflect on what you noticed, what felt most supportive, and what your body has been showing you.
Together we'll name your next steps, whether that's continuing on your own with the practices you've gathered or going deeper with breathwork, menstrual cycle awareness, or another path this work has opened.
Pillar Three: Integration
Between sessions
Each week, you'll receive supportive videos, audio recordings, and somatic exercises to explore in your own time. They build on one another and deepen what we do together. They're encouraged but never required.
Once you've moved through these three phases, this is what becomes possible:
When a hard day hits, a stressful email or a tense conversation, you have a practice to reach for. You know how to resource yourself, and you've felt it work in your own body.
You start to recognize your own signals. You notice the tightness before it becomes overwhelm, the tiredness before it becomes burnout. Your body stops feeling like a mystery you're always catching up to.
Your menstrual cycle starts to make sense. After two cycles of tracking, you can see your patterns: the days you have more to give, the days you need more care, and how your nervous system shifts across the month. You stop expecting yourself to be the same every week.
Slowing down feels less like falling behind. You've tasted what it's like to rest without guilt and to listen before pushing through, and you want more of it.
You know what works for you, and what doesn't. Somatic breathwork, cycle awareness, resourcing, creative practice: you've felt each one, and your body has shown you which ones to keep. Your next step is no longer a question you're trying to solve in your head. It's something you can feel.

In-person sessions are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and occasionally on Fridays, between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Sessions are scheduled by appointment only, and availability can book up quickly, so I recommend reaching out in advance if you have specific dates in mind.

You’re in the right place.
Many women who come to me have little or no experience with somatics. You don’t need to know anything ahead of time. We’ll start slow, gentle, and grounded — meeting your body exactly where it is. As trust and safety build in your system, we’ll work our way into deeper layers of exploration and healing at a pace that’s just right for you. -
Most clients come every other week, which allows time to integrate between sessions. If you’re navigating something acute or need more support, weekly sessions are available on a case-by-case basis.
-
Each session is tailored to your needs, but you can expect a quiet, peaceful space to connect with your breath, body, and deeper truth. Sessions may include somatic inquiry, trauma-informed breathwork, nervous system regulation tools, creative visualization, or gentle guided movement — always with full consent and collaboration.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and breathe with ease — think yoga pants or relaxed layers. You don’t need to bring anything, but you’re welcome to bring a journal, water bottle, or any comfort items (a shawl, stone, or essential oil) that help you feel grounded.
-
Yes. Some women choose to alternate between in-person and virtual sessions, especially if their schedules vary or they travel often. We'll create a rhythm that supports your healing and works with your lifestyle.

Sessions are held in East Sacramento at a serene Quaker church. The space is quiet, private, and reserved just for your session — no waiting rooms, no distractions. You’ll be welcomed by a beautiful garden upon arrival and held in a space that feels sacred, soft, and safe.
